Your dealer application and your personal information

1Who we are

CONMEC Engineering Co., Ltd. (“CONMEC”, “we”), No. 88, 2# Industrial Avenue, Anwu Road, Wuqiao Town, Fengxian District, Shanghai, China, is responsible for the personal information you submit through these forms.

We handle personal information in line with the laws that apply to us, including China's Personal Information Protection Law and, where it applies, the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation.

This notice covers the dealer application pages only. Other CONMEC websites have their own notices.

2What we collect

Information you enter in the form: company name, country, website, type of business, the equipment you sell or rent, your workshop, expected sales volume, your customer types or the sites where your customers work, the machines you are interested in, whether you already buy from CONMEC, your name, role, work email, phone or WhatsApp number, how you heard about us, your message, and your consent choices.

Information added when you submit: the date and time, the page you applied from, and any campaign codes in the link you followed (for example, utm_source).

Technical information: like any website, our hosting provider and form service process your IP address and browser details to deliver the page, send the form and protect it from spam. These pages do not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.

Please don't include sensitive information such as identity documents or bank details in your message.

3Why we use it

We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing. A member of our team reviews every application.

4Who receives it

Within CONMEC: the staff who handle dealer recruitment and sales.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.

5International transfers

CONMEC is based in China, so your application is received and stored there. On the way, it passes through the providers listed above in India, the United States and other regions. These countries may not offer the same level of protection as the country where you live.

Our providers process your information under their data processing terms. For information from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, those terms include the Standard Contractual Clauses.

6How long we keep it

• Applications: one year from the date you submit. After that we delete them from our mailbox and records, together with the copy held by our form service.
• If we sign a dealer agreement with your company: we keep the contact details we need to run the relationship for as long as the agreement lasts, and afterwards for as long as the law requires.
• Marketing consent: until you withdraw it.
• Technical logs: our providers delete them on their own regular schedules.

7Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

• give you a copy of your personal information;
• correct or complete it;
• delete it;
• restrict or stop using it;
• send it to you or to another organisation in a common format.

You can withdraw your consent at any time. This doesn't affect anything we did before you withdrew it, but we may no longer be able to consider your application.

Write to us at the address in section 9. We reply within one month. If you are in the EU or the UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

8Other points

Security. The pages and the form use encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to applications is limited to the staff who need it.

Age. The dealer program is for businesses. It is not intended for anyone under 18.

Changes. If we change this notice, we will update the date at the top of the page.

9Contact us
